ANALYTIC SOLUTION FOR SOLITON PROPAGATION IN A NONLINEAR SATURABLE MEDIUM

摘要
Soliton propagation in a saturable self-focusing nonlinear medium is discussed. By using an appropriate model for saturation it has been possible to obtain an exact solution of the corresponding nonlinear Schrodinger equation. The properties of the solution are discussed.
