摘要
The results of AES, SIMS and SEM studies of silver surfaces which have been electrochemically oxidized and reduced in aqueous chloride solutions show that the processing yields a highly purified layer of metallic silver with a monolayer of chloride. The Raman peak reported at 240 cm-1 for such surfaces is attributed to a surface chloride vibration, an assignment supported by lattice-sum calculations that include image charge effects. © 1979.
