摘要
Molecular ordering present in cholesteric liquid crystalline solvent phase is shown to be rigid enough to regulate the uncatalyzed Diels-Alder reactions conducted above 130-degrees-C with significantly high regioselectivity up to 90% d.e., which is considerably dependent on the structural features of reactants and the mesogens.
