摘要
Tomato [Lycopersicon esculentum] plants were grown with limited or luxury water supply and given N either as the ammonium ion or the nitrate ion. The active Fe fractions of the leaves as extracted by etherized hydrochloric acid showed no relationship with the total Fe but a very significant linear relationship was found between the active Fe fraction and the ratio of total P to total Fe. Recalculation of results presented by other investigators for maize [Zea mays] plants grown in soil with various levels of moisture, P and Fe also showed a highly significant linear relationship between the active Fe fraction and the ratio of total P to total Fe.
