摘要
The capillary rise of liquid in the gap between two closely spaced parallel cylinders has been calculated as a function of distance of separation and contact angle. The solutions are valid only when the height of the meniscus is much greater than the radius of the cylinders. With the same restriction, the capillary rise between a cylinder and a flat plate has been evaluated. © 1969.
