The weaving methods of three-dimensional fabrics of advanced composite materials

This study is to investigate the weaving methods of shedding, picking, unshedding and beating which may be used to weave plate and cylindrical three-dimensional fabrics with the reciprocative loom. These weaving methods may be mutually combined so as to weave a fabric with both plate and cylindrical structures. Furthermore, a single loom using these weaving methods can weave fabrics of various sizes. In addition, the characteristics of fabrics woven by these weaving methods is also discussed.
