PARAMAGNETIC RESONANCE OF GAMMA-IRRADIATED N2H6SO4 AND N2D6SO4 SINGLE CRYSTALS

摘要
An ESR study was made of defects produced by γ‐irradiation in hydrazonium sulphate (N2H6SO4 and N2D6SO4). The analysis of the experimental data shows that N2H 5+ and N2D 5+ defects are formed. The mechanism of the appearance of these defects is a breakage of N–H and N–D bonds, respectively. Some remarks about the character of the singly occupied orbital are made.
