CONVOLUTION FOURIER-TRANSFORM ION-CYCLOTRON RESONANCE SPECTROSCOPY

摘要
This paper reports first use of a numerical deconvolution procedure for producing amplitude-corrected, phase-corrected absorption-mode Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FT ICR) spectra. Compared to magnitude-mode FT ICR spectral display, the new method can enhance mass resolution by a factor of 2, eliminate irregularity in peak heights at different m/e, reduce baseline noise, and eliminate line shape distortions for closely-spaced peaks, while retaining the multichannel advantage of Fourier data reduction. © 1979.
