INFILTRATION-REACTION PROCESS FOR FABRICATING YBA2CU3O7-DELTA SUPERCONDUCTOR

摘要
A new process for fabricating YBa2Cu3O7-delta superconductor was developed using infiltration-reaction process. A stack of Y2BaCuO5 and YBa2Cu3O7-delta compacts was heated at 1000-1200-degrees-C and then cooled. By the infiltration-reaction process YBa2Cu3O7-delta superconductor where Y2BaCuO5 dispersions under 5-mu(m) were densely and evenly distributed has been fabricated without residual liquid phase. The resulting YBa2Cu3O7-delta superconductor showed large hysteresis and J(c) from magnetization measurement.
