THE HYPERFINE-STRUCTURE OF THE I-127(2) P(119)35-0 TRANSITION

摘要
The hyperfine splitting of the iodine P(119)35-0 transition at 18787.13 cm-1 (532.2793 nm) is measured by heterodyne spectroscopy using two frequency-doubled Nd:YAG lasers. The standard deviation of the theoretical fit to the experimental results is 3.65 kHz. The hyperfine constants for this transition are: electrical quadruple: DELTAeQq = 1903.9004 +/- 0.07 MHz, spin rotation: DELTAC = 114.958 +/- 0.047 kHz, scalar spin-spin: DELTAa = - 9.92 +/- 4.53 kHz and tensor spin-spin: DELTAd = - 58.86 +/- 2.7 kHz. New empirical formulas for the electrical quadruple, spin rotation and tensor spin-spin constants as a function of the vibrational and rotational energies in the B state are derived.
