Effects of configurational order on the specific-heat capacity of Ni3Fe between 1.2 and 4.4 K

摘要
Measurements of the specific-heat capacity of configurationally ordered and disordered Ni3Fe between 1.2 and 4.4 K are presented. Coefficients of the electronic, magnetic, and harmonic phonon contributions decreased significantly on ordering (21. 5, 8. 5, and 4.8%, respectively). These results are justified theoretically and compared where possible with other measurements in the literature.
