摘要
The theory of impurity states is reformulated by using a pseudopotential method. The effective mass and two‐band approximations are obtained. A simple criterion in order to estimate the errors introduced by some hypotheses is found. Finally an equation in a single‐band approximation valid for both deep and shallow levels is derived but with one effective mass and dielectric function in terms of the impurity pseudopotential.
