摘要：

A list of polynomial fittings of existing data for density, refractive index, conductivity, and optical rotation as functions of temperature, sugar concentration, and salt concentration of aqueous solutions is given. The polynomials should be useful in analysis of laboratory experiments in double diffusive convection. A discussion of the problems and practicalities of determining concentrations from measurements of physical properties is given, and the errors involved in such an inversion are discussed. © 1979.
