Competitive inhibition of β-cyclopiazonate oxidocyclase by both substrates viz β-cyclopiazonic acid and 2,6-dichlorophenol indophenol, provides additional evidence of a Ping-Pong Bi-Bi mechanism for this flavoenzyme. © 1979.
