摘要
For any dielectric crystals in which there are no external charges and currents the expression for the dielectric permittivity tensor is obtained with umklapp processes taken into account. It is shown that all these processes describe a short-wavelength retarded interaction of the charges in the medium and they should be taken into account in an investigation of spatial dispersion effects.
