摘要
The angle-resolved cross section for the photoelectron-diffraction process is calculated by taking into account the Coulomb potential of the ionized atom, within the single-scattering model; it is proven that the long-range Coulomb potential modifies the final expression of photoelectron current by the introduction of a logarithmic phase shift that cannot be factored out, unlike the case of short-range potentials.
