摘要：

Hydrographic and nephelometric data were gathered in the vicinity of the Grand-Rhone canyon on the Golfe du Lion continental margin. These are used to describe the hydrographic structures and the suspended matter distribution. The results highlight the influence of wind-forced processes and current-canyon interaction on the dynamics in the canyon. These processes control the shelf-slope suspended matter exchanges, which are characterized by cross-canyon advection and near-bottom transfer along the axis of the canyon.
