摘要：

It is shown that from a Principle of Covariance with respect to universal basis transformations of matter multiplets in irreducible representations of the gauge symmetry groups, one can derive the observed elementary particle representations, namely: doublets of SU(2) X U(1), triplets of SU(3) and also the representations of the Lorentz group-spinor, vector and scalar fields.
