摘要
There is little doubt that there are still major problems with the statistical aspects of published medical research. This paper argues that it is not sufficient to teach statistics to medical undergraduates, when the bulk of their courses are being taught by the very same individuals who continue to undertake and publish substandard research. Instead, any undergraduate teaching needs to advance in parallel with courses given to the clinical staff within medical schools. Copyright © 1990 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
