摘要
:
A description of Pythium acanthophoron is given. It has spiny oogonia, but no zoosporangia were observed. It can grow as a mycoparasite on Fusarium solani and on Pythium myriotylum (two fungal pathogens causing rhizome rot of ginger) and a range of other fungi. © 1990, British Mycological Society.
