STORAGE AND REPRODUCTION OF AN ULTRAFAST OPTICAL SIGNAL WITH ARBITRARILY TIME-DEPENDENT WAVE-FRONT AND POLARIZATION

摘要
The experiments demonstrated the ability of time-and-space-domain holography to record, store and reconstruct simultaneously the temporal and spatial modulation of both transverse polarization components of the object wave. Actually, it is nothing else than the storage and playback of the temporal behavior of a variable wavefront of arbitrarily variable polarization. It should be emphasized that time-and-space-domain holography of polarized fields enables entirely the 'whole writing' of all characteristics quantities of light fields including their time dependence.
