CORRECTIONS FOR IMPULSE APPROXIMATION IN D(P,2P)N-REACTIONS AT 155-MEV

摘要
First and second order terms of the multiple scattering expansion for the proton deuteron inelastic reaction are introduced in an antisymmetrized way. The impulse approximation is used to relate the first interactions to the free nucleon-nucleon scattering amplitude (from a Hamada-Johnston potential). Second order interactions are studied with 1) a central s potential (either a square well or a separable potential);2) by factorizing the t ̃ nucleon-nucleon matrices. Results are compared with measurements performed at Orsay. Agreement is good for the shape of the angular distributions, but corrections due to double scattering processes are too large. © 1969.
