MOSSBAUER STUDY OF IRON PRECIPITATES IN LIF AND NAF

摘要
Results are reported of the first detailed Mössbauer study of the precipitation phenomenon in alkali halides doped with iron concentrations ranging from 100 ppm to a few mole per cent. At low doping levels in LiF a non‐cubic precipitate is seen coexisting with aggregates of FeF2. In NaF, three precipitates, including a cubic superlattice structure (Suzuki phase), are identified. The results are supported by powder X‐ray diffraction and electron microscopy. Copyright © 1979 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA
