DEUTERON PHOTODISINTEGRATION AND MOMENTUM DEPENDENT POTENTIALS

The influence of momentum-dependent potentials on the photodisintegration of the deuteron is investigated in order to study off-energy-shell effects. A general formula for the dipole sum-rule and for the perturbation part of the Hamiltonian has been derived. The integrated, total, and differential cross section is calculated with a special p2-potential in the case of E1 +E2-transitions. Finally a family of momentumdependent potentials, produced by isometric transformations, is considered and the effect of the non-local parts in the Hamiltonian is calculated for E1-transitions. The integrated and total cross section is obtained as a function of the parameters in the transformation. We give a geometrical explanation of the results. © 1969 Springer-Verlag.
