摘要
Plasma spraying deposition is a fast and powerful technique to produce protective coatings on various substrates.To understand the relationship between the spraying process and the quality of the coatings, there is a need to study plasma/ particulates and particulates/substrate interactions. The first part of this paper refers to the main techniques used at the present time to investigate the impact and cooling of the molten particulate stream on the substrate. In the second part, experiments conducted to study particulate vaporization into the plasma jet are reported.
