摘要
The effects of heat treatment, carbon content, and microstructure on resistance of Inconel 690 to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) under caustic conditions were studied. The results are compared with the effects of the same factors on Inconel 600. Both alloys were evaluated in the annealed condition and after a post-anneal exposure to 704 C (1300 F) for 15 h. SCC resistance was determined by constant extension rate tests (CERT) in deaerated 10% sodium hydroxide at 288 to 316 C (550 to 600 F).
