摘要
Depending on impactor design and flow rate, as much as 80% of available unattached RaA and ThB atoms can be collected in a round jet impaction stage in a convenient form for analysis. The collection efficiency decreases linearly, but slowly, with increasing flow rate. It is shown to be due to a diffusional process not significantly affected by either relative or absolute humidity. © 1969 Health Physics Society.
