EFFECT OF CYCLIC 4-SPIN INTERACTION ON MAGNETIC RAMAN-SCATTERING

摘要
We investigate influences of the cyclic 4-spin exchange interaction J(c) upon the magnetic Raman-scattering of high-T(c) oxides by an exact numerical method for 4 x 4 square lattice. The spectra computed with inclusion of J(c) agree with experimental results better than those obtained from the Heisenberg model. The nearest-neighbor exchange interaction J to be extracted from experimental spectrum becomes larger than that estimated by use of the Heisenberg model.
