摘要
The hypernetted chain (HNC), rather than dilute gas, approximation for computation of the pair correlation function gives good theoretical fits to previously measured light scattering intensities for micelles of cetyltrimethylammonium chloride at low-to-moderate ionic strengths, where electrostatic repulsions are dominant. Good agreement for micellar diffusion coefficients is also found provided that the theory is corrected for the effect of co-ion and counterion diffusivities. © 1990 American Chemical Society.
