摘要：

The severity of human exposure to power frequency electric fields near high voltage power lines is statistically assessed. Randomness in the various factors influencing field exposure is taken into account, namely, the ambient field intensity near ground in the vicinity of the line, and the human body dimensions which are, in turn, correlated with age. A computer model of field exposure severity evaluation is described and some results are given.
