摘要
We present a recursion formalism for the scattering coefficients of multilayered spherical particles which is more treatable for computer programs than the matrix-formalism of Bhandari [1]. We computed explicitely the extinction and scattering cross section spectra of different metal coated spheres. Comparison with experimental results is done for gold-silver heterosystems. The spectra are in very good agreement with the experimental data.
