摘要：

It is shown experimentally that the cell with an n-type nematic liquid crystal may have two functions, light deflection and shutter, and that the cell with a reflective coating film may deflect a light beam about twice the angle achieved with a transmission type of cell. © 1979, The Institution of Electrical Engineers.
