摘要
The misfit layer compounds (MS)nTS2, M = Bi, Pb, Sn, La, Sm and T = Nb, Ta, which form a family of highly two-dimensional electronic systems, are investigated by specific heat and susceptibility measurements. All compounds become superconducting above 70 mK, except for M = La, Sm. The M = Pb, Sn species behave as 3-d BCS superconductors. (BiS)1.08TaS2 shows two-dimensional fluctuations above Tc in both specific heat and susceptibility measurements. We interpret these results in the light of differences in valence states of the metal atom in the MS layer. © 1990.
