INFRARED PROPERTIES OF THE COUPLING-CONSTANT IN NON-ABELIAN GAUGE-THEORIES

摘要
It is shown that the Schwinger-Dyson equations and Ward identities of non-abelian gauge theories could lead to an infrared behavior g2(q2)∼ 1 q2 for the running coupling constant. This behavior is nonperturbative, and holds for any color group. Whether it is actually realized is now being investigated. © 1979.
