PIONIC CONTRIBUTION TO THE N-DELTA TRANSITION FORM-FACTORS

摘要
The gammaNDELTA electric form factors g(E) and g(C) are predicted to differ for nearly real photons by an amount of the same order of magnitude of the presently poorly known g(E). Long-range pionic dispersive contributions, responsible for this effect, only marginally influence g(M). The above finding should prove essential in the comparison with future more accurate data to assess possible baryon deformations.
