NEMERTEANS OF GENERA CEPHALOTHRIX AND OTOTYPHLONEMERTES FROM MARINE MESOPSAMMAL

摘要：

Five species of the genus Cephalothrix and two species of the genus Ototyphlonemertes are described from European coasts and the North American Pacific coast. Four species of Cephalothrix and one species of Ototyphlonemertes are new to science. Pseudocnids, situated in the proboscis of the Cephalothrix-species are identified as genuine products of Nemerteans. A low number of nephridia is characteristic for the new species of the genus Cephalothrix. The phylogenetical development of the nephridia within the Palaeonemertini is discussed. Three new Cephalothrix-species have setae at the proboscis. © 1969 Biologischen Anstalt Helgoland.
