摘要
Organomercury compounds have been shown to undergo substitution by palladium salts with subsequent reduction of the paiiadium(II) to palladium(O) and oxidative coupling of the aromatic rings. The system, toluenemercuric acetate-palladium acetate, was investigated in detail. A mechanism is proposed based on the isomer distribution of the bitolyls. © 1969, American Chemical Society.
