SPIRAL PHASE IN A DOPED ANTIFERROMAGNET

摘要
The coherent motion of a hole in an antiferromagnetic described by the t-J model is discussed assuming that the spins show a spiral correlation function. The results are obtained from an ansatz for the wave function and no kind of mean-field approximation has to be made. When the resulting band is filled up for a low concentration of holes the total energy of the system can be estimated and it is found that for any finite concentration of holes a state with spiral spin configuration is energetically favorable compared to a state with Neel order.
