摘要：

The new approach developed over the past four years by P. L. Huyskens and M. C. Haulait-Pirson to the problem of solubility for crystalline compounds, as well as to model high molecular weight polymers, has been applied to much more complicated systems such as the oligomers used in high solids preparations. As an illustration of the method, the results obtained with epoxy resins of bisphenol A type are reported. The dissolving power of aromatic/alcohol mixtures may be calculated using solvent parameters tabulated in the literature together with the parameters for the epoxy resins as determined in this work.
