摘要
A kinetic study of the alcohol-induced racemization of optically active α-naphthylphenylmethylfluoro-silane, R3Si*F, has been carried out. The data have been rationalized in terms of mechanism Sn2*-Si which involves the equilibrium formation of an expanded-octet addition complex between the reagent and the fluorosilane. © 1969, American Chemical Society.
