APPLICATION OF AN IMAGE INTENSIFIER SPECTROSCOPE IN TRIBOLUMINESCENT STUDIES

摘要
The main problems normally encountered in measuring triboluminescent spectra, namely the low intensity of the source and its variable (and unpredictable) intensity, may be overcome by using an image intensifier spectroscope. In this instrument the input end of a four-stage intensifier is located in the plane occupied by a plate in a conventional spectrograph. The output end of the intensifier is photographed with a conventional camera.
