摘要
The effect of chlorine on the photocatalytic degradation of 2‐chlorophenol and the herbicide atrazine has been investigated. Whereas no variation in the final products formation (CO2 for 2‐chlorophenol and cyanuric acid for atrazine) is observed, the rate of degradation is affected, being faster at higher chlorine concentration (in particular for 2‐chlorophenol) and unaffected or even slightly inhibited at low chlorine content (3–10 x 10−4 M). © 1990 Publications Division Selper Ltd.
