CALCULATION OF DOUBLE ESCAPE PEAK ANGULAR CORRELATION ATTENUATION COEFFICIENTS FOR SQUARE GE(LI) GAMMA DETECTORS

摘要
Angular correlation attenuation coefficients for the double escape peak are calculated for nine Ge(Li) detectors, by the use of a simple Monte Carlo technique. The calculations are valid for photon energies between 1.5-6 MeV. The statistical model used is empirically adjusted to fit the observed intrinsic efficiency for energies from 6 to 10 MeV. This gives an approximation to the attenuation coefficients for these energies. The coefficients are compared to the any interaction" attenuation coefficients. © 1968."
