摘要
This paper discusses and demonstrates the improvements in bandpass filters which result from the use of double-half-wave structures as compared to the more conventional Fabry-Pérot or single-half-wave systems. The improvements are in transmission and rejection of unwanted radiation. Examples are given at various wavelengths in the far-infrared. The filters all use metallic mesh and the close agreement between theoretical design and fabrication is demonstrated. © 1979.
