Crystalline hydroxyapatite ultraftne particles were synthesized by hydrothermal treatment ef the seme powders prepared by mixing aqueou? solutidftfr@f NO3) (3 dWd^fNH^HP©g WltfHc ratio of Ca to P (1.67) at room temperature. The relations of the particle size and shape to such operating conditions as hydrothermal temperature, Ca(NO3)2concentration, stirring speed and treatment time were investigated systematically.
