摘要：

An isobar model for KN interaction is studied in connection with the problem of the mass splitting between Λ(1405) and Λ(1520) and the nature of these hyperon isobars. With appropriate choices of meson-baryon coupling parameters, the model explains the KN scattering and the resonance parameters including the mass splitting in a consistent way. The coupling strengths are, however, very different from what is expected from the strengths for the ground-state baryons in the same quark model. It is speculated that Λ(1405) is not an excited three-quark state but has more the nature of a KN bound state. © 1990.
