摘要
It is demonstrated that the existence of positive Hall coefficients in glassy and liquid metals can in principle be explained by the Faber-Ziman theory. The theory leads to a correlation with the thermopower which is in qualitative agreement with the experimental results but which is not suitable for quantitative calculations. Suggestions for a more general approach are given.
