摘要
Children with leukemia are at risk for cognitive deficits as a result of the illness and its treatment. Thorough and periodic assessment by specialists is important because the degree of impact varies from child to child and because long-term effects may surface only after an extended period. This article reviews these neuropsychological and psychosocial consequences.
