摘要
The relationship between sociometric status and self-concept was re-examined using data from sixth graders. In general, a positive linear relationship was obtained and the specific hypotheses of the study were upheld. All the hypothesized relations were significantly supported by data from the girls, but only one was significantly upheld by data from the boys. These sex differences were noted, although none of the differences was statistically significant. Discussion focused on the methodological difficulties involved in the assessment of sociometric status. © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
