DIAGNOSTICS OF INDIVIDUAL QUASI-ONE-DIMENSIONAL ELECTRONIC CHANNELS

摘要
The difficulties in the existing interpretation of the properties of quasi-one-dimensional electron channels are discussed. A self-consistent solution is proposed of the problem of the basic parameters of the typical quasi-one-dimensional electron channel in the split-gate geometry. The results of calculations allow us to find the dependences of all the basic characteristics of the channel on the gate voltage which turn out to be in good agreement with the corresponding experiments.
